PNW Arthritis and Rheumatology is a specialty medical practice dedicated to the diagnosis and management of arthritis and rheumatologic conditions for diverse adult patient populations. Located in Richland, WA, the practice focuses on evidence-based care, patient education, and long-term disease management. Role Description
The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver comprehensive rheumatology-focused care, including obtaining detailed histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, joint injections, infusion room oversight and developing treatment plans for patients with arthritis and autoimmune conditions.
 
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Richland, WA, requiring active participation in the clinical team and consistent in-person patient care.
 
There is no required on-call time.
Onboarding includes training and rheumatology course completion.
 
Qualifications
  • Solid foundation in Medicine either new graduate or experience managing adult patients in outpatient settings
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), eligible to practice in Washington State; rheumatology experience or interest strongly preferred
  • Current national certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs) and active DEA registration or eligibility
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and evidence-based treatment skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records, accurate documentation, and time management in a busy clinic environment
  • Commitment to collaborative, team-based care, ongoing professional development, and culturally responsive patient care
